Miss Joy is the #1 fan of Tyler Perry’s House of Payne. She does a weekly recap of the new episodes and gives H.O.P. viewers a glimpse into episodes to come. She’s an avid watcher of sitcoms, loves writing and makes a mean broccoli and cheese cornbread casserole. But, don’t even think of asking her for the recipe!
New Groove
We’re two weeks ago from our brand new episodes. It feels good to know that we’ll finally have our questions answered and our saga continued for The House of Payne! Waiting for these new episodes have put me in a new groove and I’m itching to get my “Payne” medicine just before Christmas. I did receive a double dose of laughter last night with the MADEA and MR. BROWN episodes. I was really laughing twice as hard at those two. And did you know laughing keeps you warm? Watching Madea jump on Curtis’ back is better than a hot cup of cocoa!
Next week, we’ll be treated to a couple of really great episodes, with my favorite being “Commencement Day”. This is the one where Calvin is about to finally graduate. When his Pops finally takes it all in, he has one really big, proud moment. But, how long will his happiness last? Tune in Wednesday to find out!
